Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment with strong attention to detail
- Preferred: PICU experience for floating and post-surgical care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill and premature infants in a Level IV NICU
- Monitor and support neonates requiring advanced respiratory and cardiac care
- Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, and gastric tube placement
- Support therapeutic hypothermia, sepsis screening, lab draws, ROP exams, and complex medication management
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary neonatal care team during rounds and daily patient care planning
- Maintain professionalism, accountability, and emotional composure in a fast-moving clinical setting
