Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU Level IV hospital experience
• Level IV NICU experience required
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Strong professionalism, reliability, and the ability to remain calm in a high-acuity neonatal care setting
• Ability to take direction proactively and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU
• Monitor and support patients requiring advanced respiratory and neonatal interventions
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, lab draws, and gastric tube placement
• Support therapeutic hypothermia, sepsis screening, and ROP exams as part of daily patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the broader care team during rounds and ongoing patient management
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care
• Contribute to a learning-focused unit culture with exposure to complex cases and advanced neonatal care
