• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Shift: Day shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Columbus, Ohio - a lively city known for its welcoming neighborhoods, great dining, parks, and a strong healthcare job market.
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily Volume: Approximately 210 visits per day
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with emergency nursing skills including triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Professional references as requested during the hiring process

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department across all age groups
• Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes in acuity
• Support critical interventions such as IV initiation, line care, medication administration, and EKG acquisition
• Assist with the care of trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other emergent presentations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and strong outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication throughout the patient experience
