Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
  • Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and compassionate bedside manner
  • Preferred: Meditech experience, PICU experience, and PALS certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care for infants with a range of acuity levels
  • Monitor and support newborns requiring advanced respiratory and critical care interventions
  • Assist with procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, pneumo taps, and circulatory support tasks
  • Administer medications, blood products, IV therapy, and specimen collections as ordered
  • Support deliveries and transitions for high-risk newborns alongside the neonatal care team
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver safe, effective, family-centered care
  • Document accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate patient changes promptly
