Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital NICU RN experience
- Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Strong communication, adaptability, and compassionate bedside manner
- Preferred: Meditech experience, PICU experience, and PALS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care for infants with a range of acuity levels
- Monitor and support newborns requiring advanced respiratory and critical care interventions
- Assist with procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, pneumo taps, and circulatory support tasks
- Administer medications, blood products, IV therapy, and specimen collections as ordered
- Support deliveries and transitions for high-risk newborns alongside the neonatal care team
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver safe, effective, family-centered care
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate patient changes promptly
