Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent NICU experience required
• Experience caring for premature and critically ill neonates
• Strong skills in neonatal respiratory support, IV and central line management, medication administration, and neonatal monitoring
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Experience with ventilators, CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, PICC/UVC/UAC lines, and neonatal resuscitation preferred
• Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, compassionate, and team-focused
• Effective communication skills when working with families and interdisciplinary staff

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to premature, ill, and high-risk newborns in the NICU
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and support respiratory interventions as needed
• Administer medications and infusions safely and accurately
• Monitor infant status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Manage IV, central line, and feeding tube care
• Assist with blood draws, phototherapy, thermoregulation, and other neonatal treatments
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the care team to support optimal outcomes
• Provide compassionate family-centered care and clear updates to parents and caregivers
