Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Comfort with night shift scheduling and rotating holiday coverage
- Experience using Epic electronic health record preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely, effective treatment
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong patient safety standards
