Job Requirements
- Active Arizona RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Cerner experience required
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to Emergency Department patients
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and anticipate patient care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely treatment and disposition
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks appropriately based on team skill mix
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning and professional development
- Support continuity of care and uphold facility policies and best practices
- Be flexible to float as needed within the assigned care environment
