• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse
• Location: Ontario, Ohio
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• End Date: January 11, 2027
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; must be willing to float as needed to maintain hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Valid state RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with electronic health record charting systems required; Epic experience preferred
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia management, arterial line care, central line management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator care, suctioning, and isolation precautions
• Willingness to float to other ICU units or campuses as needed
• Must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour if placed on call
• Candidate must be available to make up missed shifts and follow time-off guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and intervene promptly to support safe outcomes
• Administer medications and manage critical drips according to provider orders and unit protocols
• Support patients requiring advanced respiratory care, including ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the charting system
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to promote high-quality patient care
• Adapt to staffing needs, including floating to other campuses when required
• Maintain professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced critical care environment
