Travel Med/Surg RN Job in Columbus, Ohio | 13-Week Night Shift Assignment

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3x12-hour nights; weekend coverage may be required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Charting System: Experience required with any EHR or charting platform
• Float: May be required to float to other units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed-acuity medical-surgical environment
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Comfort with a flexible schedule, weekend coverage, and floating when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate clinical nursing care to medically and surgically complex patients
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes quickly, and respond appropriately
• Support post-operative and specialty care needs, including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Administer oxygen therapy, manage peripheral IVs, and assist with non-invasive airway support as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Participate in weekend coverage and floating assignments when scheduled
