• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Perioperative Nursing
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 25, 2026
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent experience in the specialty area
• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
• At least one reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Experience circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedural and cardiovascular surgery cases
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to participate in pre-start and annual module completion as required
• Comfortable meeting compliance and onboarding requirements on a timely basis

Responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor cardiovascular surgical cases with attention to patient safety
• Support the surgical team throughout the procedure from preparation to completion
• Maintain a sterile field and follow OR standards and best practices
• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy cardiovascular operating room environment
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical technologists, and other perioperative team members
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled and remain flexible to the needs of the unit
• Complete required onboarding, orientation, and competency expectations
• Deliver dependable, compassionate care while contributing to smooth operating room workflow
