• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends; weekend shifts can be accommodated if needed
• Call: None
• Patient Ratio: Up to 1:6
• Unit Size: 17 beds
• Patient Population: Adults, primarily 65+
• Charting System: Paragon
• Work Setting: Inpatient Med/Surg with observation and swing bed services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg or equivalent nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with PICC/CVC management
• Experience with wound care
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Willingness to float between comparable Med-Surg areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based medical-surgical nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Manage PICC and CVC lines and perform wound care interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Collaborate with therapy, respiratory therapy, and provider teams to support patient recovery
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Support a positive, team-oriented unit culture in a collaborative healthcare environment
• Float to comparable nursing areas when needed and appropriate
