Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU or step-down nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Chemo certification preferred
• Flexibility and willingness to float as needed
• Strong teamwork, compassion, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Progressive Care Unit patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor and assess patients with a large cardiac population and other complex medical needs
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and the broader healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient care
• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as assigned
• Use Meditech and unit-specific equipment effectively to support workflow and clinical documentation
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold clinical standards and unit policies
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-oriented environment
