Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Dallas, Texas. Join a high-acuity women’s health team caring for mothers and babies in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with opportunities to support high-risk obstetric patients, C-sections, antepartum care, and safe bedside nursing.

- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
- Setting: High-risk Labor & Delivery / Women’s Hospital
Job Requirements
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- High-risk obstetric care experience required
- High-risk OB bedside training required
- Ability to circulate in C-sections and recover high-acuity patients
- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
- Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Ability to float to the antepartum unit as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor labor progression and support safe outcomes for high-risk obstetric patients
- Assist with C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum recovery
- Deliver bedside care for high-acuity patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the care team to ensure exceptional maternal-fetal support
- Support triage, antepartum coverage, and unit needs based on patient flow and staffing
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards in a fast-paced women’s health setting
