Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
• At least 1 year of bedside nursing or acute care nursing experience required
• 2 years of bedside clinical experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required before the first shift
• ACLS certification required before the first shift
• Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based care environment
• Prior experience in long-term acute care, rehabilitation, or medical-surgical nursing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete timely nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Participate in care conferences and communicate patient status to the interdisciplinary team
• Support discharge planning and patient education from admission through transition
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other ancillary staff as needed
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive environment for patients, families, and team members
• Collaborate with charge nurses and physicians to ensure continuity of care
• Take charge responsibilities after orientation, when assigned
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain a high standard of care
