• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Schedule: Day shift with no weekends, holidays, or call
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200-$2,320
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Clinical Focus: Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, and cardiac rehabilitation support

Job Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Experience in cardiac rehab, cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or post-cardiac care preferred
• Active RN license or eligibility to apply for Oregon licensure with fingerprinting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong skills in patient teaching, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood glucose monitoring, and cardiac monitoring
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a high daily visit volume
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to cardiac patients in an outpatient and cardiac stepdown setting
• Monitor patients for angina, dysrhythmias, hypertension, and recovery needs after cardiac procedures
• Support patient education on cardiac health, medications, lifestyle changes, and self-management
• Assist with telemetry monitoring, pulse/CMS checks, supplemental oxygen, and blood glucose management
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, MI, or vascular procedures as needed
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
