Registered Nurse Job Requirements

Current RN license
Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment
Upbeat, adaptable personality with excellent teamwork skills
Pre-op experience preferred

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical patients
Monitor patients during Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge
Assess patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the healthcare team to support safe recovery
Maintain accurate documentation using the facility EMR
Deliver compassionate, efficient care in a busy PACU setting
