Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• CPI required, but may be completed after the contract start date
• Strong critical care assessment, emergency nursing, and patient management skills
• Proficiency with IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and emergency room workflows
• Comfort working in a fast-paced 16-bed ED with variable 4:1 patient ratios
• Ability to support travel nursing requirements, including residing more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and prioritization of patient needs in the ED
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support IV/IO access, chest tube management, catheterization, and critical care drip administration
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver timely, effective treatment
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record
• Use strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in a dynamic emergency department setting
