In this Travel Registered Nurse position, you will provide high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing a wide range of interventional radiology and fluoroscopic procedures. You will collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.

• Employment Type: Travel
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: Approximately 2 weeks per month
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
• Setting: On-site procedural nursing environment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Arizona RN license or compact state license accepted
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation administration and monitoring
• Strong IV access and patient assessment skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies
• Knowledge of sterile technique and procedural workflows
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Moderate Sedation Certification/Competency required

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
• Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and support safe recovery
• Assist with interventional and fluoroscopic procedures, including biopsies, drain placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vascular access
• Support advanced procedures such as embolization, PICC/central line placement, and oncology-related interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to deliver efficient patient care in a procedural nursing environment
• Maintain a calm, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced radiology nursing setting
• Use strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to anticipate patient needs
• Help support the development and growth of an expanding Interventional Radiology service line
