• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and major holidays as needed
• Floating: May float within the New Life Center or to other NICU units

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a compact license
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Strong recent experience in NICU, pediatric, OB, ED, medical-surgical, or critical care settings preferred
• BLS required; PALS preferred at hire and may be required within the specified timeframe based on unit needs
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
• Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
• Comfort with neonatal stabilization, resuscitation, and advanced patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care for infants in a Level III NICU setting
• Perform ongoing assessments, create plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced care management
• Assist with procedures and use NICU equipment such as bubble CPAP, ventilators, IV pumps, and monitoring systems
• Educate and support families through discharge teaching and follow-up planning
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice
• Float as needed to support related newborn care areas
