Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Type: Travel, On-Site
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Procedure Suite
• Location: Bowling Green, KY

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience or similar procedure suite experience
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab travel RN experience
• Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a 4-person Cath Lab team
• Comfortable documenting in Merge-Cath Lab and Meditech
• Must maintain a professional appearance and follow unit dress code guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing support for diagnostic and interventional cath lab cases
• Assist with procedures including left heart cath, right heart cath, TEEs, cardioversion, pacer implants, defibrillator implants, TILT testing, and stress tests
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a 2-suite cardiac catheterization lab
• Collaborate closely with scrub techs, physicians, and the procedural team to ensure excellent patient care
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
• Float to OP Stress Test when needed
• Document accurately and communicate clearly throughout the patient care process
• Help maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and teamwork in the lab
