Job Requirements

• Active RN license with eligibility to work in Kentucky
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or similar procedure room nursing experience
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab travel nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based cardiovascular procedure environment
• Comfortable with call responsibilities and a collaborative workflow

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including left heart cath, right heart cath, TEEs, cardioversion, pacer implants, defibrillator implants, TILT, and stress tests
• Support patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery throughout the procedure experience
• Work closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient, safe patient flow
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow department protocols
• Respond to call shifts as scheduled and contribute to reliable team coverage
• Float as needed within Cath Lab and OP Stress Test settings
