Join a fast-paced Emergency Department in Frankfort, Kentucky, where you’ll care for a diverse patient population in a well-supported, Level III Trauma Center environment. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers a dynamic clinical setting, strong teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every shift. Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of emergency and urgent care needs
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients efficiently in a busy Emergency Department
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely interventions
- Respond to acute changes in patient condition and deliver critical care as needed
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
