• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908
• Start Date: October 2, 2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Call: 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period
• Setting: 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit
• Documentation: Epic EMR experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification preferred
• Ability to care for high-acuity obstetric patients
• Degree accreditation must be on profile, or 5 years of experience required
• Must be comfortable with floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe deliveries
• Care for high-acuity obstetric patients in a fast-paced maternal care environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit procedures in Epic
• Adapt to unit needs, including floating when required
• Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
