• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Location: Paducah, KY 42003
• Schedule Notes: Every other holiday and every other weekend availability may be required; block scheduling is not guaranteed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS accepted in lieu of BLS
• Med/Surg nursing experience strongly preferred; orthopedic experience is a plus
• Ability to successfully complete a dysrhythmia exam at orientation
• Strong assessment, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Complete and document thorough patient assessments and care plans in the electronic medical record
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and continuing care needs
• Educate patients and families based on individualized needs, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Advocate for patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support patients across a variety of diagnoses while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and efficiency
• Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment with changing patient needs
