Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Florida or a compact license on file at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level I trauma facility
• Recent experience in intermediate care, telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or progressive care
• Stroke and tracheostomy care experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient experience and quality care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced cardiac stepdown and intermediate care setting
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support patients with stroke-related and tracheostomy-related care needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, and effective care delivery
• Document accurately in Cerner and maintain timely clinical records
• Deliver compassionate bedside care while supporting an excellent patient experience
• Adapt to unit needs and help maintain smooth workflow during night shift operations
