• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Start Date: ASAP

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• PCU or stepdown experience highly desired
• Strong documentation, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered environment

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide timely updates for team conferences and re-evaluation meetings
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Support patient rehabilitation through skilled direct care and patient education
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day one
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel as needed
• Promote safety, quality outcomes, and efficient use of supplies and resources
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and calm leadership
