Travel RN opportunity in Olympia, Washington for an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse with ICU and procedural care experience. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 3-5 years preferred
  • ICU experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Experience with Epic charting required
  • Ability to provide care for procedural and critically monitored patients
  • Strong background in dysrhythmia interpretation and procedural sedation monitoring preferred
  • No first-time travelers
  • Must be willing to participate in weekend and call coverage as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care in the Interventional Radiology setting
  • Support patients undergoing procedures such as CT-guided biopsy, fistulograms, GJ-tube placement, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe, effective care
  • Assist with procedural sedation administration and monitoring when indicated
  • Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and other clinical changes appropriately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support efficient patient flow and high-quality outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
  • Participate in call coverage and floating as needed based on unit needs
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy procedural environment
