Overview

Provide expert emergency nursing care in a busy Level II Trauma Center that sees approximately 220 patients per day. You’ll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team while caring for patients across the lifespan in a dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment.

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Orientation: Approximately 20 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980-$2,080

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting preferred
• Ability to work weekend shifts and occasional holidays
• Comfort caring for neonates through geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform triage, assess acuity, and prioritize care in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other emergent presentations
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and procedural sedation under established protocols
• Care for ventilated patients and support BiPAP/CPAP management
• Monitor dysrhythmias, interpret ABGs, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, and other support teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
