Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
• Location: Trenton, New Jersey
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Mental Health / MST
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Contract Duration: 8-week contract
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• EMR: Cerner

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient mental health nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
• CPI certification required by document deadline
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• MST experience required
• Ability to float between Inpatient Mental Health and MST units as needed
• Strong communication, adaptability, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Inpatient Mental Health and MST units
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient care
• Float between assigned units based on staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner
• Support patient safety initiatives and follow established clinical protocols
• Work scheduled night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation
