• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; flexibility for fixed or rotating weekends may be required
• Call: No call
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of overall operating room RN experience
• At least 2 years of dedicated cardiac surgery and vascular surgery experience
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Scrub experience in cardiac and vascular cases is required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 manager, director, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Support high-acuity cases including CABG, valve procedures, AAA/EVAR/TEVAR, transplant-related cases, and other advanced cardiac interventions
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment
• Prepare equipment and supplies for specialized heart and vascular procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Follow universal protocol, infection control, fire safety, and specimen handling standards
• Adapt quickly to changing case needs in a busy CVOR environment
