• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend; major holidays may be required
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry travel nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass an EKG exam during orientation
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical decisions
• Care for patients with post-operative, trauma, and general medical/surgical needs
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Prioritize changing patient needs and respond confidently to clinical changes in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed based on patient care needs
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment for patients and families
