Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to work in Mississippi
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patients in the Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support timely, effective patient care
• Respond confidently to changing patient conditions and emergency situations
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families with compassion and professionalism
