Job Details

• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 17 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Schedule: Weekend nights with one additional night shift; weekend coverage required
• Charting System: Epic
• Setting: Adult Critical Care Float Pool
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Ability to float to lower or equivalent acuity units as needed
• ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education required
• Must be comfortable working with adult critical care populations

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ICU nursing care to patients across a variety of adult critical care settings based on staffing and patient acuity needs
• Float to critical care units such as Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and related areas
• Monitor and manage complex patients requiring ventilator support, vasoactive drips, and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Perform assessments, initiate interventions, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support safe patient care through accurate documentation and effective use of Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality critical care
• Maintain flexibility and professionalism while adapting to changing unit needs
• Use critical thinking and clinical expertise to prioritize care in high-acuity environments
