Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NICU Registered Nurse seeking travel RN jobs in Colorado. Support a busy Level III neonatal intensive care unit caring for micropreemies, critically ill newborns, and infants with complex needs. First-time travelers are welcome as long as the required NICU experience is met.

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Weekend Coverage: 6 to 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
- Call Requirement: One 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
- Float: Potential to float within scope to the Mother Baby Unit
- Orientation: 24 hours
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience
- Current BLS and NRP certification
- Strong experience caring for neonates and infants in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care setting
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work night shifts and meet rotating day-of-week scheduling needs
- Comfort supporting complex neonatal cases, including micropreemies and infants with respiratory needs
- First-time travelers welcome with the required NICU background
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level III NICU
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Manage neonatal therapies and equipment such as CPAP, HFNC, ventilators, UAC/UVC lines, and phototherapy as needed
- Administer medications, blood products, and specialized treatments according to unit protocols
- Support feeding, thermoregulation, developmental care, and family education
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear, timely communication with the care team
- Float within scope when needed to support adjacent newborn care areas
