This 13-week travel Registered Nurse opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a charge nurse, triage support, bedside RNs, a unit clerk, and techs in a 19-bed ER. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department / Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Room
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730-$1,820
• Weekend Requirement: Rotate weekends
• On-Call: No call
• Location: Cypress, TX 77429

Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC
• Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to thrive in a positive, team-oriented culture
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems preferred

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support high-acuity interventions including STEMI and tPA care
• Assist with CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care as needed
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the care team to ensure timely treatment
• Maintain safe, efficient patient flow in a 19-bed Emergency Department
• Use strong communication and clinical skills to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care
