Job Overview
The Travel Registered Nurse – Infusion provides coordinated, compassionate care to patients receiving chemotherapy, IV therapy, blood products, and other infusion treatments. In this RN job, you will use your clinical expertise to assess patients, administer therapies safely, and support patients and families throughout the care experience.

- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 10-hour days
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with one day off; approximately 36 hours per week
- Setting: Infusion / Oncology
- Location: Toledo, OH 43623
- Environment: Supportive, high-volume clinical setting with approximately 7-9 infusions or injections per day
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration
- BLS certification required or preferred upon hire, depending on source requirements
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire
- ACLS, vascular access, and oncology certifications preferred
- Prior medical-surgical, oncology, or infusion nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Epic is preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer chemotherapy, IV medications, blood products, and other infusion therapies safely
- Start peripheral and central lines and support vascular access procedures
- Monitor patient responses, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and update care plans as needed
- Provide patient and family education and support throughout treatment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation using clinical systems and follow established safety procedures
- Support quality improvement efforts and promote a positive patient experience
