• Floating: As needed
• Orientation: HR orientation on Monday during the day; unit orientation varies by unit

Job Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification in hand
• 1+ year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience in an acute care setting
• Step-down experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing or contract healthcare experience is a plus
• New graduates are not accepted for this role
• Ability to adapt to a changing schedule and support unit needs as assigned

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to Medical/Surgical patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer treatments and medications in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit protocols, policies, and best practices
• Provide flexible support with floating, weekends, and holidays as needed by the unit
