• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,670 - $2,820
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Schedule: Day and evening openings available
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Required; one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month
• Charting System: EPIC
• Setting: Acute care CVOR

Job Requirements

• Active RN license and current BLS certification from AHA
• At least 1 year of experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery
• Strong CVOR experience required; prior travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to manage a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room with complex cases
• Comfortable with mandatory call and a 30-minute response time
• Flexibility to float within other OR services as needed
• Professional, team-oriented approach with strong clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Assist with cases such as CABG, valve repair and replacement, ECMO, transplant, robotic and open thoracic procedures, and advanced vascular interventions
• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to maintain high standards of patient care
• Participate in call coverage and remain available for emergent surgical needs
• Adapt to floating within other Berkeley OR services when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and contribute to smooth OR workflow
