Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, or psych nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an on-site healthcare setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Must meet all required certifications and compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals in a behavioral health and psychiatric environment
• Monitor patient status, document assessments, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support treatment plans according to nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Support a therapeutic, respectful, and structured environment for patients and families
• Maintain accurate records and follow facility policies, safety procedures, and clinical protocols
