Job Details
- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
- Start Date: 10/5/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 8 hour days
- Schedule: Rotating days, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend call
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,820-$2,970
- Setting: Interventional Services / Cath Lab
- Location: Portland, ME 04102
- Work Environment: No floating required; procedural scrubs provided; free parking available
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of Cath Lab nursing or Interventional Radiology experience
- Experience with cardiac catheterization, angiograms, and IR procedures
- Comfort administering sedation and recovering sedation patients
- Experience with arterial access recovery
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience with Cerner and Pyxis preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy Cath Lab and Interventional Services setting
- Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and a variety of interventional radiology cases
- Monitor patients receiving sedation and support recovery after procedures
- Care for patients requiring arterial access recovery and post-procedure observation
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and fellow clinicians to support efficient patient flow
- Deliver compassionate care to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients as needed
- Maintain accurate charting and support smooth daily workflow in the procedural suite
