• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Contract Length: 17 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to other acute care areas as needed
• Charting System: MEDITECH experience preferred
• Orientation: General and unit-specific orientation provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current NIHSS certification from AHA required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts and every other weekend
• Comfortable with floating and caring for a varied acute care patient population
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and ongoing nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Support patient flow, including care for holds and floating assignments as needed
• Maintain a calm, professional presence during busy night shift operations
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes
