Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and scheduled weekends
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced medical-surgical healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to Medical-Surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support individualized care plans
• Document accurately and thoroughly in the MEDITECH electronic health record system
• Support patient education, recovery, and discharge planning
• Maintain a professional, organized workflow while adapting to changing patient needs
