• Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160-$2,270
• Charting System: EPIC
• Unit Equipment: Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps
• Location: Fargo, ND
• Floating: May float to med/surg units across multiple Fargo locations as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Dakota or a Compact state, or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of recent med/surg nursing experience required
• Experience in a large hospital setting with 250+ beds required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start
• EPIC experience required
• Cardiac and telemetry experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to other med/surg units as needed
• Strong assessment, documentation, and medication administration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and complete nursing tasks accurately and efficiently
• Document care, patient status, and clinical updates in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to rotating schedules and support unit needs with professionalism
• Float to additional med/surg units within the Fargo area as required
• Maintain a patient-focused approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
