Job Details

• Position: Travel ICU RN – Cardiovascular ICU

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700 - $2,840
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; approximately 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing or cardiovascular critical care experience
• Experience working night shifts in a high-acuity intensive care environment
• Strong assessment, communication, and prioritization skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and detail-oriented patient care
• Experience with critical care protocols, telemetry, and collaborative bedside nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes quickly, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to plan of care and unit protocols
• Perform frequent assessments and document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record
• Support recovery for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic needs, including post-operative care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional ICU environment
