• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays scheduled as needed
• Floating: Required within scope and to lower-acuity areas as needed
• On-Call: Not required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,020
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong recent experience in med/surg telemetry and orthopedic care
• Experience with spine, ortho, or post-surgical adult patients preferred
• BLS and NIHSS required
• Comfort caring for adults with patient ratios around 6:1
• Ability to work night shifts and support every-other-weekend coverage
• Confidence using common unit equipment and managing telemetry-related nursing care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients recovering from joint replacements, fracture repairs, ACDFs, fusions, and decompressions
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and manage treatment plans according to provider orders
• Support pain control, mobility, and recovery using available unit equipment and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response support
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Float within specialty and lower-acuity areas when needed
