Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Mother/Baby, Post-Partum, Labor & Delivery, Nursery, or a related acute care nursing setting
• Experience supporting postpartum care, newborn assessment, and family-centered nursing care
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide reliable 36-hour weekly coverage
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Willingness to float to other units as needed and assist with overflow patient care
• Ability to attend required department education sessions

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Support Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Nursery patient needs as assigned
• Monitor patient condition, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Assist with overflow from other units when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, compassionate nursing practices
• Adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment while delivering exceptional bedside care
