Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland

• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Ability to care for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Strong triage, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Comfort working night shifts and rotating weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with acute, complex, and life-threatening conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely and efficiently
• Support care for trauma, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and behavioral health presentations
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain professionalism and composure while responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
