Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Willoughby, Ohio
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Clinical Setting: Level 3 trauma center operating room
• Service Lines: Orthopedic trauma, orthopedics, ophthalmology, podiatry, general surgery, robotics, thoracic, vascular, pain, urology, and cardiology
• Call Requirement: Approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month; call response expected within 30 minutes

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing or surgical nursing experience
• Experience supporting fast-paced perioperative cases across multiple surgical specialties
• Ability to participate in call rotation and respond within the required timeframe
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and clinical judgment
• Prepared to complete all required onboarding and compliance documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures
• Support room preparation, patient positioning, and intraoperative workflow
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
• Maintain patient safety, sterility, and accurate documentation throughout procedures
• Adapt quickly to a high-volume operating room environment with multiple specialties
• Participate in call coverage and respond promptly when needed
