• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700 - $2,840

• Call Requirements: Scheduled call coverage required, including weekday and weekend rotations

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience in a large hospital or high-acuity surgical setting
• Level I trauma experience required
• Strong Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required
• Broad surgical background with the ability to work independently on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• BLS certification required
• Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing support in the Operating Room throughout the perioperative process
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases, including high-acuity and specialty procedures
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and quality of care before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the surgical care team
• Prepare the OR for procedures and ensure proper instrument, supply, and equipment readiness
• Respond confidently to call coverage needs and support team coverage as assigned
• Deliver efficient, detail-oriented care in a fast-paced surgical environment
