• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710-$1,800
• Position Type: Travel RN, on-site

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough nursing assessments within the required timeframe and use findings to guide individualized care plans
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Support patient rehabilitation goals through education, encouragement, and consistent follow-through
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching early in the admission process
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team to support continuity and safety
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients, families, and staff
• Participate in team conferences, care coordination, and ongoing professional growth
